Dodge Revives Go Mango Color Option for Challenger and Charger
Back in the golden age of muscle cars during the ’60s and ’70s, Dodge often partnered with Mopar to release bright and iconic colors for its high-performance cars, such as Plum Crazy, Sublime, and B5 Blue–purple, green, and blue, respectively. Recently, Dodge brought back the three aforementioned colors as options for buyers of the new Dodge Challenger and Charger, and the brand plans on bringing back another popular color that hasn’t been offered from the company in over 10 years. The Go Mango color, a bright orange, will be available in limited quantities. Go Mango has its origins with the 1970 Challenger and, consequently, is strongly associated with legendary […]

Jeep design boss Mark Allen recently unveiled a lineup of seven Jeep concepts for the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, and hidden among them is a concept that hints at a model whose existence has been rumored and speculated about for years—a Jeep Wrangler pickup truck. The concept in question is the Jeep Crew Chief 715, which uses a Wrangler Ultimate as a base in conjunction with heritage design cues and the addition of a truck bed. Allen dropped vague hints that the Crew Chief 715 contains some of the same styling cues as the upcoming Jeep Wrangler and, consequently, hints at the future Wrangler pickup. “We’re finally […]
LaSalle Speedway: Rich in History and Entertainment
We at Cornet Dodge appreciate being so close to the LaSalle Speedway. This ¼-mile dirt track speedway has a rich history and provides a great amount of entertainment for fans. The LaSalle Speedway was founded in 1947 and was originally named the Tri-City Speedway. It was closed after just six races due to low interest. While it was closed, a cow milking center operated on the spot, and then a drive-in theater was constructed there. Ironically going along with the racing theme, the final showing at the drive-in was Herbie Rides Again on November 13, 1973. The racetrack did not re-open until the summer of 1992. Izzo Construction reconstructed another […]

We at Coronet Dodge appreciate the beauty of classic cars. We also appreciate the people who have the determination to keep their car well maintained and plan for the car’s future as a classic car. So what makes a car a collectible? There was a report released from experts at Hagerty Classic Car Insurance which looked at collectability of vehicles to determine which cars of today may be a good investment. Hagerty President McKeel Hagerty states that the simplest form of being collectible is when a car is “the fun car you don’t have to have.” From a value standpoint, the car becomes recognized as a collectible once it has […]

Before filling out applications, have your employer, income, expenses, and social security number on-hand. If you’re applying at a dealership, you’ll only need to fill out a few general forms. If you’re applying on your own, you’ll need to fill out […]
New Dodge Viper a Possibility
The Dodge Viper is known for its incredible performance but slow sales have generated cause for worry among enthusiasts. Production of the supercar is scheduled to come to an end in 2017 and there isn’t any indication of a replacement supercar anytime soon. Fortunately there is hope according to Sergio Marchionne. While the Dodge Viper generally doesn’t sell more than 1,000 units a year, it’s a legend and well-known model on the Dodge lineup. That gives reason to believe that Dodge won’t want to cut it permanently. Instead of its specialized production line at the Conner Avenue Assembly plant in Detroit, a new Dodge Viper could share a platform and […]
