If you spend any time on the internet, you probably noticed that Friday, September 4th was called Force Friday, but you may not have known why. This was the day that Lucasfilms unveiled many of the products for the upcoming film “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
To join in on the Star Wars fun, Dodge released a fleet of eight white Dodge Chargers decked out to look like the Stormtroopers in the movie. These Stormtrooper Chargers were used in New York City on Force Friday by the ride-sharing company Uber.
“Dodge was happy to provide eight Dodge Chargers including SRT 392 vehicles, a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat and other trim levels, to Mattel and Uber for this special promotion,” the Fiat Chrysler brand said in a statement. “May the Force be With You ‘Star Wars’ and Dodge fans.”
There is one downside to these ultra-cool Chargers—they aren’t production models and were just a one-time event. Of course, it seems if you had a white Dodge Charger, added a few simple decals and black wheels, you could recreate the look yourself.
Would you ever decorate your Dodge Charger to make it look like a Stormtrooper?
